i have only purhased one part from pep boys.
A hitachi distributor cap for my stupid Honda beause every other store only carries the other (more popular?) type and I did not want to wait three weeks for them to ship one.
They were very slow and I am glad that autozone has a large selection of parts.

They were rude too. "Are you sure you need a hitachi?"
"Yes I have the old one right here do you want to argue about what I need?"
